The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is an Anna University approved Research Centre which seeks to promote an innovative research ecosystem leading to expanding the spectrum of research towards sustainability. The faculty and research scholars are engaged in interdisciplinary research which includes Restructured Power System, Power Electronics in Power System, Wind Energy, Solar Energy, VLSI Design, Low Power VLSI Testing, Network on Chip(NOC), MemristorCharacteristics and Design, Electrical Drives, Power Quality, Intelligent Control and Renewable Energy.
