We are pleased to inform you that IEEE SPS, Madras Chapter in association with Department of ECE, Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu 641049, India is organising IEEE SPS approved Seasonal School on Image, Audio, And Video Processing for Pattern Recognition during June 23-28, 2022. It is planned in virtual mode, having full-day lectures and hands-on sessions. The lecture sessions are aimed to cover topics from fundamentals to advanced in the areas of Image , audio and video processing, Computer Vision, Pattern recognition, Machine Learning and Deep learning and its applications.

Motivation and description

Huge amounts of data in the form of picture, audio, and video are generated as a result of modern technological breakthroughs such as IoT and Cloud computing, and must be further processed to be appropriate for pattern recognition tasks. Identifying and interpreting people, animals, places, artefacts, diseases, and objects are all becoming increasingly important. These sensory inputs are critical in order to enhance recognition outcomes, and they are fuelled by machine learning approaches. The goal of this seasonal school is to share recent advancements in these technologies in a way that allows academic and industry participants to challenge and design pattern recognition systems for modern industry
