About the School of Foundational Sciences:

School of Foundational Sciences (SFS) of KCT envisages to embrace a spectrum of diversified disciplines and offers courses which seek to expand the thinking horizons and imagination capabilities of the engineering students and become a gateway to transdisciplinary collaborations to contribute to the culture of future. The Department of Languages and Communication is an integral part of SFS that offers English and other foreign languages in addition to short-term certificate courses and open elective courses for students of engineering and technology. The proactive team of teachers of English Language are committed to provide excellence in Teaching and Research.

About the Workshop:

A constant evolution in the approach towards teaching tertiary-level learners is observed in the recent decades. The present pandemic situation has ushered technology-based teaching which has posed several challenges for the Teaching community. The need to relook at this situation with optimism and find opportunities in these challenges requires a higher Emotional Quotient. The workshop aims to promote the Emotional well-being of Teachers by addressing the emotional needs and work towards the enhancement of one’s ability by managing the emotions. This would reduce stress, or any kind of turbulence faced either at the domestic or work environment and thereby, enable them to focus on the goals and work towards the betterment of self and society at large.
