Scholarships are distributed to school students every year. In 2013 150 students from 4 schools in the project villages were awarded scholarships.Children are oriented on experience based learning . Here the children are taken to experience the science express.
On all Fridays children in the four project schools receive 200 ml of milk. Children await for the milk every week and many times some of them come for a second service. Also Paruppu Podi is distributed to increase the protein intake of these children. The anthropomtric measurements of children are taken periodically anf followed up with needy interventions.
Children are monitored for their health regularly and immunization and vaccination camps are organized periodically. The Growth chart and immunization history of the children are maintained for follow up.
Promoting Gandhian Values:
Namadhu Pangu facilitates Peace Festival every year in association with Shanthi Ashram in which more than 1500 students and invited guests participate.
To inculcate the values of Gandhi to school children “Gandhi Connect” programmes are organized.
Women Empowerment programmes are organized to motivate and help the women realize their potentials and be aware of their rights.

Environment Awareness and Protection:
Regular awareness camps are organized for school and college students to create awareness on environmental concerns and also followed with necessary action. The picture shows the children who actively participated in an awareness camp on carbon emission.
The Power of Volunteering:
100 students and 15 Faculty volunteered to support the Coimbatore Marathon in 2013 in which more than 6000 runners participated. Namadhu Pangu volunteers with great enthusiasm cheered the runners and also provided support.

Children’s Day Celebrations:
In 2013, the Childrens’ Day programme was conceived, planned, implemented by volunteers without any faculty support. They organized various competitions and distributed prizes.
