Educational institutions having high research and publications receive high visibility. Today institutions encourage academicians to do high end research work and publish them in premier journals. Faculty member are expected to publish quality research beyond teaching, which aids their teaching in a better and practical way. Institutions pays more attention to publication as this has been highly recognized by various rating and accreditation agencies across the globe. Research publications build credentials for individual faculties and quality enhancement for the institute as well. In reality, publications in premier journals is more demanding as one has to find the right journal, understanding the processes and satisfy the pre – requisites of that journal-all of these poses a big challenge. This faculty development programme on ‘Publishing in Premier Journals’ is intended to support researchers in their quest for publishing their scholarly publications in Scopus, ABDC, Web of Science, UGC, Anna University Annexure listed Journals.
